This is a treadmill motor that is being belt driven off of and old exercise bike.
The light bulb that it is powering is a 120V 100 Watt standard light bulb.
Powering the light bulb is not that hard at all really, pedaling is not very hard, but if you short out the wires the generator will barely spin at all and the belt will slip. This generator looks like it will be good to use as a wind generator.
The generator put out over 200 Volts with no load and me pedaling as fast as I could.
This is a video of a tread mill motor powering a Angle Grinder directly. The Angle Grinder is rated 120 Volts with a 6 amp draw at full load.
I was pedaling at a medium pace to make the Grinder spin the blade at full speed.
I know by previous tests that pedaling at a medium pace gives around 130 Volts with no load.
